NASA Urged To Return US Astronauts To The Moon

On March 26, 2019 the United Space and Rocket Center hosted a meeting of the National Space Advisory Council. The meeting was chaired by U.S. Vice President Mike Pence with remarks by members of the Council including NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine.

United States Vice President Mike Pence has called for American astronauts to return to the Moon within five years.

Mr. Pence is calling for an accelerated pace by the US space agency NASA towards the goal of putting Americans on the lunar south pole, stating that the agency needs to achieve this outcome “by any means necessary.”
